About the Scholarships
Established by Zionsville Orchestras incorporated (ZOinc) in 2025, the two Jim Crismore Memorial Scholarships honor former Zionsville West Middle School Orchestra Director Mr. Jim Crismore. Mr. Crismore was a devoted, passionate, caring teacher who influenced the lives of countless students over his 30+ year career. He shared his love of music and the joy it brought with everyone he met. These scholarships support students who will continue to share their love of music beyond high school.
The Jim Crismore Memorial Scholarships are open to senior members of the Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) Orchestra program. Specific eligibility requirements for each scholarship are listed below.
Scholarships are awarded in a blind judging panel of ZOinc parent volunteers.
