Instrument Policies

All cellists and bassists are assigned a school-owned instrument and bow to use during their class period. Students may only use their assigned instrument and bow. School-owned instruments must be treated with care. Students are required to put the instrument away, fully zipped in its case, with the bow loosened and hanging by the frog, at the end of each class period.

Violinists and violists must bring their own instruments to school each day. They are provided a locker in the orchestra room for instrument storage.

Paiges Music comes to ZCHS every Monday morning. If you rent/own an instrument from Paiges, you can call them to arrange for your instrument to be serviced. They will bring loaner instruments, accessories, and more to ZCHS upon parent/guardian request. Click here to contact Paiges Music.
