Zionsville Community High School Orchestras

Emphasis on community

About Us

The Zionsville Community High School (ZCHS) Orchestra program has grown to include over 150 students in its four string orchestras. The program has been under the direction of Ms. Keegan Lammers since 2023, during which time all ensembles have consistently earned Gold With Distinction at their ISSMA Organizational Contests.

Members of the ZCHS Orchestra program have been recognized for their strong musicianship, participating in All State Orchestra, the Indianapolis and Chicago Youth Orchestras, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra (ISO) Side-by-Side, the ISO Maurer Young Musicians Competition, and more.

ZCHS Orchestras perform at venues near and far. Students regularly perform at local nursing homes, the Zionsville Fall Festival, and other local events, sharing music in the Zionsville community. In March 2025, ZCHS Orchestras traveled to Nashville, TN, where they performed at both the Country Music Hall of Fame and Vanderbilt University.

Our Vision: Everyone Belongs Here

ZCHS Orchestras believe in cultivating a strong sense of community through music, living up to our school motto: everyone belongs here.

Our program builds culture and belonging by providing leadership opportunities, clubs, in-state and out-of-state trips, and community activities like bowling night, ice cream socials, picnics, and more. At ZCHS, Orchestra is more than just a class. It's a place to call home.

We have orchestras for every level of commitment and experience; whether orchestra is is your main focus/passion, or just a class you can enjoy with your friends, we have an ensemble that is perfect for you.
